The main 3 things to remember are:

  1. A Good Antivirus Program: We recommended ESET and use it for virus removals and protection for clients and our monitoring service.
  2. Backup!  90% of businesses go OUT of business within a year if they lose their data.  We recommend backing up your home or business both on an external hard drive and online with a company like Carbonite.
  3. Regular Maintenance:   We recommend residential users to bring their computer in for a tune up once a year.  Businesses who rely on their computers for generating daily income, and want to minimize downtime should have quarterly checkups remotely or onsite.  We also have our 24/7/365 monitoring and maintenance program which can do this remotely for a small monthly fee.  See our Managed Care page.

That’s why we’ve created a division with three business technicians: Bill, Travis, and Robert.

For businesses, they can’t afford a single day with a computer out of commission, but they also can’t afford a full-time IT Department.  We are going to use our 35+ years of experience to keep you worry-free, trouble-free, and and fast, efficient, and secure as possible.

Budgeting:

We encourage businesses to replace computers before they reach their typical failure point of 5 years.  Since the average computer costs about $500, everyone should be budgeting $100 per year for a replacement.

Tune ups are ideally done each quarter, regardless of visible problems.  With our remote service, we can do this after normal work hours at a fraction of the cost.  Repair and troubleshooting averages 2 hours per computer per year.

Security from Outside Threats:

There are people out to get you.  Well, not necessarily “YOU”, but anyone with a computer.  They typically come from other countries, and randomly “ping” or test your IP address for vulnerabilities.

Theft, fires and break-ins are also a reality.  Would your business survive if all your computers were gone tomorrow?

Security from Inside Threats:

Employees and customers are already in your office, and have access to your computers, data, customer files, and more.  Our tech is HIPAA Certified and can see vulnerabilites which you would never imagine.

We have our 24/7 monitoring system called “Managed Care Concierge Service”.  This is as low as $19 per month to monitor and maintain your computers.
